Manaus – João Carlos de Souza Mafra, 20 anos, foi assassinado a tiros na noite deste sábado (25) no bairro Alvorada 2, zona Centro-Oeste de Manaus. O crime aconteceu por volta das 22h45, na Rua Parau.
Segundo informações de testemunhas à Polícia Militar, o homem era conhecido como ‘JC’ e estava participando de um bingo, quando um suspeito se aproximou e efetuou diversos disparos de arma de fogo contra ele.
A vítima morreu na hora e o corpo ficou estendido ao chão. Após o crime, o suspeito fugiu de motocicleta. Policiais Militares da 10ª Companhia Interativa Comunitária atenderam a ocorrência.
O crime será investigado pela Delegacia Especializada em Homicídios e Sequestros (DEHS). O corpo foi removido pelo Instituto Médico Legal (IML) para exame de necropsia.
