O deputado estadual Roberto Cidade (UB) foi reconduzido ao cargo de presidente do Parlamento Estadual para o segundo biênio da atual legislatura, em eleição realizada nesta quarta-feira, 30/10, na Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam).
O parlamentar obteve 22 votos favoráveis dos deputados presentes. A eleição realizada nesta quarta também ratificou os nomes dos demais membros da Mesa Diretora da Aleam para o mesmo período.
“Com o coração cheio de orgulho, respeito, admiração e vontade de trabalhar pelo povo do Estado do Amazonas agradeço a todos os meus pares pela confiança. Agradeço, inclusive, ao deputado Daniel Almeida pelo voto contrário, por manter sua postura e declarar a sua posição. Eu respeito as divergências e afirmo que continuarei sendo um político do diálogo, de construção e de palavra, principalmente, de cumprir com as minhas obrigações com o povo do meu Estado. Nós cumprimos a decisão do STF, que era refazer a eleição. Quem vence é o Poder Legislativo”, afirmou o deputado presidente.
Além de Roberto Cidade como presidente, a composição da Mesa Diretora da Aleam para o Biênio 2025-2026 tem como 1° vice-presidente, o deputado Adjuto Afonso (UB); 2° vice-presidente, o deputado Abdala Fraxe (Avante) e 3° vice-presidente, a deputada Joana Darc (UB).
A secretária-geral será a deputada Alessandra Campelo (Podemos), o 1° secretário é o deputado Delegado Péricles (PL), o 2° secretário, o deputado Cabo Maciel (PL) e o 3° secretário, o deputado João Luiz (Republicanos). O corregedor da Casa é o deputado Sinésio Campos (PT) e o ouvidor, o deputado Felipe Souza (PRD).
A nova Mesa Diretora toma posse em 1º de fevereiro de 2025 e tem mandato até 31 de janeiro de 2027.

A nova eleição para a Mesa Diretora da Aleam atende à decisão do ministro Cristiano Zanin, do Superior Tribunal Federal (STF), que contestou a antecipação da eleição realizada em 2023.
