Uma criança de 6 anos morreu após ser atropelada por um caminhão de coleta de lixo na manhã desta sexta-feira (21), no bairro União da Vitória, Zona Oeste de Manaus. O momento do acidente foi registrado por câmeras de segurança da região.
Segundo a polícia, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 11h28, quando a vítima saiu de casa para comprar pão. O veículo estava parado enquanto os trabalhadores realizavam a coleta.
As imagens de câmeras de segurança mostram a menina passando na frente do caminhão, que em seguida se movimenta. Sem ser vista pelo motorista, ela foi arrastada e atropelada. Após o impacto, os coletores alertaram o condutor, que parou e prestou socorro.
Testemunhas relataram a polícia também que a criança estava a caminho de uma padaria para comprar pães e no momento do atropelamento estava segurando uma célula de R$ 2 nas mãos.
