Durante audiência na Comissão de Minas e Energia da Câmara dos Deputados, realizada nesta quarta-feira (09/07), o secretário nacional de Energia Elétrica, Gentil Nogueira, revelou que o Ministério de Minas e Energia estuda uma forma de executar diretamente o programa Luz para Todos no Amazonas, sem a necessidade de repassar recursos à Amazonas Energia, concessionária local que enfrenta grave crise institucional.
A resposta foi dada após provocação do deputado federal Sidney Leite (PSD-AM), que cobrou providências do governo diante das dificuldades de execução do programa no estado, uma das regiões com maior déficit de acesso à energia elétrica do país.
“Há anos a população do interior do Amazonas sofre com a falta de energia elétrica, especialmente em comunidades ribeirinhas e indígenas. A situação da distribuidora local compromete diretamente a implementação de políticas públicas essenciais. Por isso, cobrei explicações sobre a situação relativa ao Luz para Todos e a relação com a Amazonas Energia”, afirmou Sidney Leite.
Gentil Nogueira, que substituiu o ministro de Minas e Energia Alexandre Silveira durante a audiência após este se retirar para um evento no Palácio do Planalto, classificou como “falimentar” a situação da concessionária. Segundo ele, o governo federal busca realizar a operação diretamente, por meio da ENBPar (Empresa Brasileira de Participações em Energia Nuclear e Binacional), estatal vinculada ao Ministério de Minas e Energia.
A Amazonas Energia está em processo de transferência para a Âmbar Energia, empresa do grupo J&F (dos irmãos Wesley e Joesley Batista), por isso, o uso da sua infraestrutura para o Luz para Todos precisa ser analisado. No entanto, a conclusão dessa operação depende de um desfecho judicial e de análise da ANEEL (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica), segundo informou o secretário.
A possibilidade de execução direta do programa marca uma mudança significativa na estratégia do governo federal para garantir o direito à energia elétrica na região amazônica, superando entraves corporativos e jurídicos que há anos impedem a universalização do serviço no estado.
